Redrum Red grew up in Staten Island N.Y, learned to express himself through beatboxing on the streets for hours as young man and son of a single mother living in Stapleton in a time Gang Banging was prevalent. His wordplay in songs like "Crash Symphony" garnered attention from Djs and fans alike. Performing shows from New York and touring the U.S. His Video "Hide in Smiling Faces" featuring actor Mark Borkowski (Boardwalk Empire) and Video "When I'm With You" ft. Ashley Loren (Moulin Rouge) are emotionally charged and inspirational.

He's been featured in Rap Fanatic, Canada's "Peace Magazine". Hot New HipHop, Music Notes Magazine and more. He's on Mixtapes hosted by Dj Khaled, Dj Vlad, SuperStar Jay. He's Performed at Club Speed, The Remote Lounge, Bowery Electric, The Troubadour, The Orange Bowl, even performing for the Coast Guard with a 100-piece choir.

In high school listening to Steve Miller Band on an old record player as his friend looped the beat, Redrum Red began to Beatbox over the sample and recorded his first Rap song. Redrum Red got invited to come on stage by Schoolly D after beatboxing and freestyling backstage with the legend, Schoolly D said " I want you to come on stage with me when you hear "My name is" in Philadelphia a packed record convention.

Redrum Red was signed by Simon Rosen "The guy who discovered Britney Spears", but subsequently parted ways. Redrum Red performed in the HipHop circuit of New York and after hundreds of shows, started touring. Being looked at as different from having red hair and freckles growing up, Red recognized the importance of self-worth and confidence as well as expressing himself through lyrics.
